Hochschule für Technik Stuttgart
Tradition and innovation—that’s what defines the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences (HFT Stuttgart). Founded in 1832 as a winter school for construction tradespeople, HFT Stuttgart now offers 32 bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. The curriculum combines academic theory with practical application. Innovative new course content is continually being developed, the range of programs is constantly expanding, and new teaching methods and media are being implemented. Education is practice-oriented and takes place in small groups. Numerous professors contribute to the university’s reputation through projects in both practice and research. Awards and competition prizes attest to the university’s international research strength.

Offers
Practical, application-oriented assignments, interdisciplinary work, foreign languages, and soft skills play a crucial role in the program. Practical student projects in collaboration with companies and firms, as well as study abroad programs at one of over 70 partner universities worldwide, are integrated into the degree programs. After completing a master’s degree, HFT Stuttgart also offers PhD programs in international research projects.
