Students at DHBW Stuttgart alternate every three months between the university and the partner company, the “dual partner.” In this way, they gain valuable professional experience while still in school. They learn in small classes of about 30 students and receive a monthly salary throughout their studies. This hands-on experience optimally prepares students for their future careers. Over 80% of graduates already have a permanent employment contract by the time they complete their studies.

Key Areas

In accordance with the university’s dual-track approach, research at DHBW Stuttgart takes place within an application-oriented framework. The three faculties—Business, Engineering, and Social Sciences—therefore maintain teaching and research centers and focus on various research areas.
First-rate professors and lecturers with industry experience ensure that students receive an excellent education during the theoretical phases of their studies. DHBW Stuttgart also maintains numerous contacts with colleges, universities, and companies abroad. Students in most degree programs have the opportunity to complete part of their studies abroad.
