Evangelische Hochschule Ludwigsburg – staatlich anerkannte Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften der Evangelischen Landeskirche Württemberg

Medizin, Gesundheitswissenschaften Gesellschafts- und Sozialwissenschaften

The Protestant University of Applied Sciences Ludwigsburg is a state-recognized university of applied sciences operated by the Protestant Regional Church in Württemberg. In dialogue with our students, we organize teaching and research at an academic level that is relevant to professional practice, regionally networked, and situated within an international context. Our Protestant identity and openness to people of other religions and worldviews shape our work.

Five bachelor’s degree programs are not tied to the Protestant faith: Early Childhood Education and Care, Inclusive Education and Special Education, International Social Work, Nursing, and Social Work.

Key Areas

EH Ludwigsburg offers the following undergraduate bachelor’s degree programs: Diaconal Studies (also with an international focus), Early Childhood Education and Care (in cooperation with the Ludwigsburg University of Education), Inclusive Education and Special Education, Protestant Religious and Community Education, International Social Work, and Nursing and Social Work. Three consecutive master’s programs: Early Childhood Education and Care (in cooperation with the Ludwigsburg University of Education), Religious Education and Social Work, as well as other master’s programs—including fee-based ones—offered in cooperation with partner institutions. These include a master’s program in Diaconal Studies in cooperation with Heidelberg University.

Offers

We believe it’s important to think beyond our own horizons: The International Office provides expert advice on studying abroad. Information regarding student financing is also presented in a transparent manner. You can find information about the costs of studying on the website. The university advises students on scholarships, such as those offered by the Evangelische Hochschule Ludwigsburg Foundation or through financial aid programs. All degree programs follow the university’s own admissions process.
Three institutes demonstrate our expertise in research, continuing education, and anti-discrimination and diversity issues.
