WissenWoW! – Hands-On Science at City Hall

At the City of Stuttgart’s Science Festival, held from October 14 to 17, 2024, at Stuttgart City Hall, visitors were able to conduct research, experiment, and ask questions.

Under the umbrella of the “Stuttgart Higher Education and Science Region” association, 10 universities presented an interactive program in the new “WissenWow!” format, featuring three themed days and a Science Day for students. The topics ranged from mobility and technology to nutrition, sustainability, and health, as well as creativity, media, and AI. The continuous hands-on program for young and old alike delighted not only registered school classes but also spontaneous visitors to City Hall. On Science Day, the Stuttgart Student Services food truck provided refreshments. Under the “WissenWow!” format, additional events of this kind on various topics will follow in 2025. This year’s City of Stuttgart Science Festival provided an excellent setting for the kickoff.
