Description
The supplementary subject of Jazz and Pop can be studied in place of an academic subject and is a fully-fledged second subject. Combined with the Teaching Qualification Bachelor´s degree course, it allows students to concentrate entirely on music.
The supplementary subject can be started at the same time as the Teaching Qualification Bachelor´s degree course, at the latest in the third semester due to the duration of six semesters.
In the Teaching Qualification Master´s degree, the supplementary subject comprises a further two semesters. The supplementary subject can also be studied as a “third subject”, in addition to Music at the HMDK and the academic subject at the university. It can therefore be taken later than the third semester.
